These terms are the agreement between you and us about Kill King — the game, its demo, and the online services behind them. Please read them before you buy anything. If you do not agree with them, do not use the game.
Throughout this document "we", "us" and "our" mean the sole trader named above. "You" means the person using the game.
Kill King is a turn-based tactical game. It is distributed in two forms:
Parts of the game rely on our servers — matchmaking against other players, the ladder, your profile, and the check that confirms you own the full version. Single-player content against the computer runs on your own device and keeps working when our servers do not.
You do not buy the full version from us directly. You buy it through the store you are playing on, and that store takes your money, issues your receipt, and handles your refund request. We never see or store your card details.

These two purchases are separate products. Buying the full version inside Discord unlocks the Discord and browser version permanently. It does not give you a Steam key, a Steam licence, or the game on any other store. Buying on Steam likewise does not unlock the Discord version. If you want both, you buy both.
The price you see at the moment of purchase is the price that applies, including any tax the store adds for your country. Prices can change, and a change never applies retroactively to something you already bought.
Refunds are the store's decision under the store's policy, because the store is the seller. Ask Steam for Steam purchases and Discord for Discord purchases. If a store refunds you, your access to what you bought ends — including access already granted inside the game.
Under EU consumer law you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception: by completing the purchase and starting the download or the unlock, you agree to immediate delivery and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal. The store collects this acknowledgement as part of its checkout.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game for your own private entertainment, for as long as the store keeps your purchase valid. That is all — the game itself stays ours.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or give away your copy or your account; reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the game except where the law says you may despite this clause; strip out or fake the checks that confirm you own the full version; or use the game's assets, art, sound, or code in anything else without our written permission.
Recording and streaming your own play, including monetised video, is fine and needs no separate permission from us.
You sign in through a platform account — Steam or Discord. Keep it secure; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. You must meet the minimum age of the platform you sign in with.
When you play against other people, do not cheat, do not use bots or modified clients, do not deliberately abandon ranked matches to manipulate the ladder, and do not pick a display name that is abusive, hateful, or impersonates someone else. We may reset a ladder rating, remove a name, or suspend access to the online services when someone does these things. We will not take your purchased game away as a punishment.
We update the game, and updates can change or remove features, including online ones. We may take servers down for maintenance, and we may eventually retire the online services altogether. If we ever shut the online services down permanently we will announce it in advance on the store pages and on this website.
The demo is offered as-is and we may withdraw or change it at any time.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
Beyond that: we provide the game with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise it will be free of every bug or available without interruption. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data that you could reasonably have backed up. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to what you paid us for the game in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using the game whenever you want; uninstall it and, if you like, ask us to delete your data as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or end your access to the online services if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 4, 7 and 9 survive the end of this agreement.
Dutch law governs this agreement. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring a case in the courts there. Otherwise disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, though we would much rather you simply wrote to us first.
We may update these terms — for a new store, a new feature, or a change in the law. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights we will announce it in the game or on the store page before it takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version.
